Step 1: Open the Page Editor
To begin, head to the page where you’d like to add the button. In this example, I’m working on my services page and plan to add a downloadable package details PDF. Once you’ve found the button, double-click on it to open the button settings.
Step 2: Attach the PDF File
In the button settings, you’ll see an option to attach a link. Click on that, then change the URL option to “File.” From here, simply upload your PDF file. It’s that easy! Once the file is uploaded, it will be linked directly to your button.
Step 3: Save and Publish
After you’ve uploaded your file, go ahead and click “Save” to finalize your changes. Now, when visitors click the button, they’ll be able to download your PDF instantly!
Conclusion
Adding downloadable PDFs to your Squarespace site is an excellent way to deliver important information in a clear, accessible format. Whether you’re sharing event details, product information, or anything else, this feature makes it easy for your audience to get the resources they need with just one click.
